Space Explained is an educational site for newcomers to astronomy and astrophysics. Our goal is to spread scientific news and knowledge about space to the general public in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.

In contrast to most of mankind’s history, our society no longer looks up with awe and reverence to the many sights in the skies above. However the universe is just as awesome and mysterious to us now as it was 1000 years ago. The more we keep discovering, the more we learn about ourselves and our place in the cosmos.

There are many more mysteries waiting to be solved by a new generation of astronomers. By educating and engaging we can turn the general public’s attention back to the skies above with renewed understanding and appreciation.

Thank you for visiting Space Explained!
